Alexander Törnroth joins Silo.AI while continuing to lead Finland’s Artificial Intelligence Accelerator

One of our ambitions here at Silo.AI has been to foster the Finnish AI ecosystem. A strong ecosystem means better business for everyone - more suppliers working together on complex solutions that create value, and more end users getting better at applying AI. Last week, as a result of these ambitions, we announced our partnership with Technology Industries. We will jointly work on one of the key initiatives within the national AI strategy, Finland’s AI Accelerator, FAIA. As part of this collaboration we are also excited to welcome Alexander Törnroth to our management team as Ecosystem and Partnership Lead.

Alexander, who will continue to lead FAIA as he joins Silo.AI, has an extensive background in business and partnership contexts. At the helm of FAIA, Alexander has had the opportunity to work on AI related use cases with some of the largest organizations in Finland, both public and private. Prior to FAIA Alexander led as a founding CEO Nordics leading AI-focused business festival SHIFT and the startup services function at KPMG, one of the global leaders in accounting, tax and other consultancy services.

– I have had the privilege to build companies with great co-founders and teams, both on the B2B and B2C markets. That is also one of the main reasons for me to join Silo:AI, from a personal perspective it is always intriguing to work with smarter people than yourself. The team has done a stellar job so far, and the company is on a clear growth path, says Alexander. 

In his new role, Alexander will play an integral part in continuing to position Silo.AI as the key player in the Finnish AI ecosystem.

– We will continue to work with all the relevant players under the FAIA umbrella. I’m confident that Silo.AI’s expertise in AI can be used to leverage the whole ecosystem. The industrial sector in particular will be in focus for the upcoming FAIA activities, Alexander concludes.
